RESUME 

Hey, I’m Skylar Boyd, I’m from St. George, Utah. I have been performing since I was 8 years old, starting with my role as The King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland Jr. This show would be the start of my life in theater, and I knew immediately that it was what I would be doing for the rest of my life. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a BFA in Acting.

Some of my favorite roles have been; The puppeteer for Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (Tuacahn Center for the Arts), Truffaldino in King Stag and most recently my time as a Kloun for Klouns Theatre Company’s first ever production, Icarus. I very much enjoy work that is weird, and physically demanding. I am a character actor and find originating roles is most rewarding.

I recently finished work on a feature film with Utah Valley University, where I played a lead role. My work can be found in many short films such as The Last Din Din and The Death Chronicles pt. 1. My next project is two roles in an Anthology Horror web series coming soon!

Outside the theatre I can be found staring into the night sky (I’m a huge astronomy nerd, what’s out there?) I'm always searching for the best Cold Brew (Haven’t found it yet, let’s go get coffee!) and boy do I listen to a lot of music! (I make monthly playlists so I got you!)
